Berwick Springs Netball Club was established in April of 2009. The clubs inaugural season saw 72 members competing in 7 junior teams. Only five years on, Berwick Springs Netball Club is the fastest growing and largest netball club in the Casey District. Today we have 331 members competing in 45 junior teams and 10 senior teams.
This year we have selected three teams to represent our club in Under 11’s, Under 13’s and Under 15’s at club tournaments throughout Victoria. For the first time we also have two senior representative teams that will compete in senior Netball Carnivals.
The BSNC Committee is dedicated to building a stronger club focused on player development. It is not important to be the best but to be the best you can be. Players from all skill levels are encouraged to set themselves achievable goals and given the encouragement and support to follow through.
To successfully develop our player’s skills, help them achieve their goals and give them the best opportunities, we have a dedicated group of coaches and parents that give their time and expertise each week.
Berwick Springs Netball Club is focused on providing these coaches with the tools and knowledge they need to support their teams.
This year we have also introduced the ‘Junior Coach’ buddy system where players from Under 15s and above who have an interest in coaching are placed with a senior coach to learn game strategies, skill progression and team motivation.
